Ricki Letowt started her career in data processing over 30 years ago as a programmer for a major New York bank. She then went on to become a computer auditor for a "Big 8" accounting firm, a computer systems manager for the City of New York, and, in the early '70s, a consultant.
Letowt Associates was formed in 1972, and their original contracts were with the same type of large organizations for which Ricki had worked. After moving to Connecticut, and while affiliated with another consulting firm, it became evident to her that small businesses were in need of the services that the MIS department fulfilled in larger organizations. Having worked with micro computers since 1981, Ricki brings these large computer services to small business.
The "Letowt on Computing" newsletter has been printed monthly since 1985. Articles on computing by Ms. Letowt have appeared in such notable publications as "New England Computing", "Connecticut Computer Society News", "Fairfield County Woman", and "Connecticut Home Office".
