Letowt Associates, Inc. provides database customization according to the specific needs of its customers. The two main tools used in this custom programming are: FoxPro and Alpha Four.

These tools are used for designing custom applications and or to modify existing database systems. As an example, SBT Accounting Systems uses FoxPro as its working environment.

• FoxPro

  FoxPro delivers performance exceeding that of some mainframe computers with far easier user access. FoxPro gives you a unique graphic work environment with pulldown menus, dialog boxes and an unlimited number of windows. You can resize, reposition and scroll through them, using keyboard shortcuts or a mouse. To work with your data, you can type commands directly into the Command window. Or use FoxPro View window as a master control panel to manipulate your data and set up your system just the way you want it.

• Alpha Four

  Alpha Four is the fully relational database for non-programmers. You can create professional applications complete with your own system of menus and submenus, full custom reports, data entry screen and even special help screens; all without writing a single line of code. With Alpha Four, you will never have to key in data like part numbers, names and addresses twice. Instead, link up to ten databases together just by filling in an on-screen diagram. Just like that, you have developed a relational database set. You can create data entry forms, reports, browse tables and queries using fields from any of the related databases.
